Dr Phillip Tagini
General Manager – Sustainable Development
Dr Tagini works with landowners, national and provincial governments, and other stakeholders to develop relationships that ensure equitable and sustainable benefit sharing arrangements are put in place for the long term.
Dr Tagini has previously served as the top political advisor to the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands on law and policy in mining and energy.
Dr Tagini holds a degree in Law, a Masters in Investment Law and a PhD in Mining Law and Regulation in the Solomon Islands from Monash University. He is a qualified legal practitioner in the High Court and Court of Appeals in the Solomon Islands, is a sitting member of the board of the Solomon Islands National University and is a member of the Land Board within the Ministry of Lands.
